Argh! my intake elbow is ruined!

I was checking on my air filter and decided to take the whole assembly apart, and my elbow is f***ed!!!! How much do these cost? People have told me to get hte 1LE one? Does it make a difference? Thanks guys!

The only difference between the stock one and the 1LE one is that it doesn't have the long donkey shlong hanging down. There is no performance gain. They are like 50 bucks or so. Or you can get the Trick Flow ones....they look cool but cost like 85 bucks.

The 1LE just doesn't have the silencer tube. I believe you can get them for around $60. I had one in the past, just can't quite remember what I paid for it.

i know u can get one at ls1speed. com but id recomend the 1LE, just because it looks like a stronger connection to me... mines all tore up and its holding for now... i gotta fix a few things on my car but i need a card first

but anywho thats my two cents

Yeah mine got all tore to hell and I bought a 1LE off a friend who put an ATI on his 'bird and didn't need it anymore. I'd definitely go for a 1LE, they are all over ebay and on the "for sale" section of this board.

I would get the Vortech intake elbow, it looks a hell of alot better than the stock one! Especially if you powder coat it to match your SLP CAI like I did!! you can get one from summit magazine or summitracing.com

i happen to have one off of my 95z that is in the way in my garage that i can sell ya for say $20.00 it still has the donkey thingy and looks like brand new. give me a yell if you want it there is nothing wrong at all with it at all. I can even email you some pics if you want, you pay for shipping.

the 1LE is made of thicker more durable rubber for it wont break like the stock one. plus the donkey dong delete.
