Arching at coil??? 93 Z28

Hi everyone,
I opened the hood last night, and noticed that my coil wire was arching to a radiator hose. I moved the wire a little and taped it up. Now the coil itself is arching to the metal housing around it. Why in the world is it doing that? I had the opti itself replaced, the cap and rotor are msd, the plugs and wires are AC delco, and the coil is a msd streetfire. All that and the water pump were just replaced a couple months ago. HELP please!!!!It's my daily driver!!!Thank you for viewing

High resistance in the seconday ingnition, Wth having the msd coil I would upgrade the wires to something a little better like msd or summit brand. or put a stock coil back into it and replace your coil wire again.

i moved my coils to a bottom mount behind the air damn...and when it rains or lots of moisture, they arch and i get a spuddering in the motor...try spraying them with wd40...that has fixed my arching evertime =)
