Nah I was thinking about it but damn the T56 has been soo good to me that I feel if I just keep taking care of it like I always do with frequent fluid changes etc, then it should do just fine.. We will see though

How much did the refresh cost you seeing as how you did all the labor yourself?

Where did you get the parts?

Got some stuff off ebay and the rest from D&D Performance Everything together was a little under $500 for an ENTIRE rebuild

for the guy who said to get straight cut gears... I am intrested to hear your reasoning on this. I am was tought that the helacial cut gears have more material touching at once than a straight cut. I just want to know if i was tought wrong.

It was always my understanding that straight cuts were the strongest gears you could buy...am I wrong?

Cool pics! I have a buddy who rebuilds trannys and that T56 doesn't look as scary as the 4L60E he rebuilt. Those autos have some serious crap in them!!!

I guess they are long tubes. A buddy of mine told me they were. I bought the car and they were already on it so I am unsure. I have been under the car and they seem to be to me correct me if I am wrong. If they arent maybe I need to check some LT in the future
