Anyone who has ever blowen a POWER STEERING pump or spun a DONUT, inside please....

Has anyone ever had a problem with breaking a power steering pumps while spinning a donut or is it just me and my friends??

I see ppl spinning donuts all the time in videos online, I have blown 3 power steering pumps spinning donuts, the last 2 broke on the first one. And on Saturday night my friend spun his first donut ever and blow the pump. What is going on here??

Anyone else haveing this problem, any bigger/better pumps that we can buy??

Steering wheel at lock + High RPM = dead PS pump.

If you MUST do doughnuts, don't turn your wheel all the way to lock.

if you must be dumb and do donuts, be prepared to replace power steering pumps.

When my firend broke his that is what he did. We where able to just pull the enire shaft out of the pump.

My thery:
I think that sine the tire in the front are large they don't side with the rest of the car, and sine the gab the pump is trying to keep the wheels realitve with the rest of the car (witch is spinnings in a circle) then you add in the high rpms of the pump going and I think it just breaks because the pump isn't strong enought to hold the wheel in the same position.
