anyone wanna tell me where this piece goes??

anyone wanna tell me where this piece goes??

hi guys for the life of me i cant figure out where that piece,( its connected by a wire to the air pump, and it goes up somewhere close to the coil, maf etc, ......its got a little round gray thing on top of it which says "made in the usa") well anyway, its got a little bracket, but i cant figure out where it goes. ive looked over all the pics i could get (my own, haynes, on here) but cant find it anyone wanna help? thank you very much.

I think I know what your talking about. I think it goes under your maf sensor by your coil i think it has somthing to do with vacum but im not positive

yup. i think you know what im talking about. the thing is, im not sure where to mount it? does on go on the coil stud (behind it)? somewhere else? its driving me nuts

If it has an electrical connector and 2 vacuum lines on it, it mounts on the inside coil stud and was an added on part from the AIR pump recall.

yup thats the part. thats why its in no pics i guess. by "the inside coil stud" you mean the stud on the left (closer to tb) or the one on the right ( closer to header)? and most likely it mounts behind the bracket i suppose?? or on top of the stud? thanks very much as always both of you

It goes on top of the stud (last) and is on the one closest to the TB.
