Thumbs up UPDATE

Well I did the passenger's side tonight. CONFESION: The #4 and #6 spark plugs did NOT get replaced.

I removed the Alternator and it helped. The main problem I ahd was the DAMN tubes from the air pump!!!!!

I ended up braking my #2 spark plug try to get it out, but it was at an angle thx to the tubes.

I managed to change the wires and noticed that the #8 wire was missing some of the rubber, and the #6 wire was barely on there by a thread (I pulled on it jsut to see which wire it was and it broke off the boot).

I was kinda surprised about the condition of the sprak plugs themsleves. For 89K on them they came out clean, unless they were previously changed, but I know hte wires were orig because they had the factory numbers on them.

I did not have any room to be able to get the other 2 plugs, so I'm gona leave them Only because of the condition of the old plugs, they dont seem to be a threat.

Another thing I could not even see the Coil wire, I might go back for that one as soon as I figure out were its at. ( I might jsut wait for my opti to go bad and change it at that time.

RESULTS:

My hessitation is gone, and the car runs extremely smooth (so far lol). It revs and accelerates nicely, and there is no prob at the top end. (I used to have a bad hessitation at the top end and it didnt want to shift right, but that is all gone now).

The hessitation I had through out the entire the RPM range seems ot be gone.

MPG jumped from 12.5 - 13 TO 14 (before the passenger side plugs and wires). I expect it to go up to 15 -16 after tonight job.

Thx for all the help guys.

I'm going to bed now my bad and arm is sore.
