Anyone using Summits E-WP

Anyone using Summits E-WP
I really am thinking that these look more promising than many of the other aftermarket ones out there.
Its 50$ cheaper.
And it has a 10,000 hour seal life.
Anyone using them? How do they seem?
Would you be able to wire it up with the pre-made meziere wiring install kit?
If I get a Meziere, im buying the **** to wire it up/install it, that way it will look neat/orderly, not sloppy, like all my wiring jobs turn into. You should see my crotch rocket

Re: Anyone using Summits E-WP
I have the cheaper one. Works fine. This is on a 12.0 static 8.9 dynamic compression car if that makes a difference.
Stat 160
Fans 180/187
Temp sets just above the 160 mark while driving (barely enough for decent heater when its really cold) And stays well below the 1/4 mark when in traffic.
Reprogramming the fans seems to have more affect than any other cooling change on my car.
Any wiriring kit "should" work. However all you need is a relay and a fuse. Pretty damn cheap and easy. Hide the wires underneath the radiator support and it doesn't matter what they look like. (If you mean ugle because you twist them together and wrap wire tape on them shame on you.)

Re: Anyone using Summits E-WP
I run a Meziere HD version. Works perfect, never had a problem. I was so confident I put the relay under the car where I can't get to it on the street without a jack.
I can't speak for the summit brand though.

Re: Anyone using Summits E-WP
I went back and forth on going with the Summit or the Meziere...I went with the Meziere. I could not get a good answer about the Summit one. Ordered it Sunday, got it today...The Summit one wasn't due to ship until 3/5....I also got the Painless relay kit...Will be doing before and after dyno runs on a brand new Mustang chassis dyno at my local shop, followed by before and after dyno pulls going from my shorties to my stepped Kooks...More to come...

Hmm, maybe I should jsut get the Meziere one then ...
I just figured Summit has quite a name to keep. And alot of "their" brand products are identical to other aftermarket companies.
Their lifters are made by the same company who makes them for Crane I believe?
So I thought maybe they were a copy-product.
Over $50 though, its not worth it if their not.
