Anyone Using Hays Clutch?

I was just curious if anyone knew anything about these and if they were good or not?

Hays has been around a long time. AFAIK, they have a good rep.

I've never heard of anyone using one in my area. Summit always shows them in their catalogs. Most recommend McLeod regular disk or the McLeod Street twin.

I'm not sure, but with my old cam I dyno'd 349rwhp. I should have more now and the McLeod has worked well for me. Note I don't go to the track and I don't do 4k hole shots either. I had the SLP LT4 type disk before and the McLeod is much stouter in design and function.

P.S. Follow Jeff C's advice!

Thanks man. When Jeff said to use the stock PP and flywheel. Did he mean to buy another stock replacement PP and flywheel? Or, just use my existing one?

I'm not sure, but I assume he meant that the oem FW and PP work well with that McLeod disc. I believe those components need to examined for wear upon disassembly. I'll bet the FW will be fine if you have it turned before reuse. Jeff and Mike know what they are doing.
