Anyone Use this CAI
The K&N has a circular cross-section on both ends, but it is not circular all the way through...in particular, the elbow curve... When the air tries to go around a corner, it naturally wants to continue in a straight line... so when going around the elbow curve, it tends to "bunch up" on the outer radius of that curve. The K&N (and some others) is wider in cross section at the outer radius of the elbow to give more room, since most of the air flow is against the outer radius. This gives less restriction overall than if the same uniform circular cross-section were maintained throughout from one end to the other.

Although I do agree. If you can find a used one, definitely Jump on it. Like stated above, the aerodynamics and engineering behind it i'm sure is done better.
I would really like someone to dyno an ebay one (with good filter) vs an expensive brand

Well I have a Moroso CAI with a cut stock box.. and a Ebay CAI for sale $45 each...
I went suncoast creations ram air since I'v had the hood sorry both CAI's where ugly to me and the though of me sucking up water is ehh i did it last week in my DD and hydrolocked it damn things ticking now and this cars lower and is getting lowered

that'd be me :-P j/k but for real i got it to go together but its a POS i dumped $250 for a ram air setup
