Anyone test resonators for HP loss?

i have a heads/cam car without cats. I was looking to make it quieter. I have a borla exhaust on there with the smallest open plate right now. I dont want to go to a closed plate.

Anyone do dyno their car after a resonator? What if i had a custom y pipe with 2 resonators on each part of the Y ?

The car will probably put down around 385wrhp with the set up..
Full hooker long tubes, custom y pipe and borla exhaust.

Anyone know the highest flowing resonator?

On my wife's 97 GTP the resonator is a 1-2hp loss.

I added one of these 3" insert cones in my exhaust to quiet it down. I have SLP single cats, ORP, Borla and I added the cone in the ORP. It still sounds way meaner than when the cat was in, but it took out a lot of the raspy, popping sounds I was getting at midrange without the cat. I told someone else here about these and he added two to his LT ypipe w/no cats and Borla and liked the result, I forget who he was but maybe he'll see this. I'm thinking of moving my single cone to the rear right before the Borla.

yeah i was looking at those before.. Hmmmmm

I might have to pick them up...

Yeah i think i'd want 1 on the end of each header... the exhaust should flow better that way... yeah i'll probably go that route.
