I was sneaking into an apartment complex and the gate came down very fast and broke my retrackable antenna, has anyone broke theirs? If so how and what was the best way to fix it?

all i could find is this when i sent them an email.
Thanks for your inquiry to www.gmpartsdirect.com.
Here are your part numbers you requested.

there are two designs:

10402860 antenna with rubber trim cover
10269280 antenna with plastic trim cover

You can go to http://www.gmpartsdirect.com on our home page there are spaces
provided to enter in these part numbers to check prices or place your order.

Now i dont know if that is just the mast or the whole assembly.

personally, I just sent a message to Dal Slabaugh at lockitup@bright.net, told him I needed an antenna mast (not the whole motor) and $23 later I got one

Was it easy to change or do i need to totally take apart the assembly?
