anyone side gap their plugs?

anyone side gap their plugs?

weve been doing it in some of the motorcycle race engines with good results, just wondering if anyone has done it on a SBC. im gonna sidegap the new plugs ive got for my car.

If by "side gap" you mean cutting the ground back to unshroud the center electrode, seems like it would reduce the life of the plug and I doubt the that most relish having to change plugs more often than necessary. JMHO

With the right header plugs arent too bad at all on the LT1. I know some nitrous cars are running side gapped plugs. Helps detter detonation and pre-ignition from what i hear.

how would you side gap them sorry stupid question cuz ima be runnign nitrous and i have also heard good things like that
