Anyone see gains over the "ebay" CAI??

It wasnt exactly what I had planned, but I ended up with one of those ebay intake kits. I had a K&N but thought the big black peice was sorta ugly. So I bought one of those chrome intake kits off ebay and planned on using the cone filter off my k&n, well the filter didnt fit and I had sold the black piece off the k&n so I was stuck with the ebay intake. Well, I finally got ahold of another k&n and I am gonna put it on this week. Has anyone ran the ebay intake kit and then switch to a k&n and saw gains? They intake tube on the ebay kit is rather small so I could see how it may choke the airflow. Thanks for any input.

My car felt like it picked up some power. I cant say for sure if it did. I have no dynoresults but the car idled smoother and definitely runs better.
