Cool

Why can't an extra pipe be welded onto the Y-pipe,then run along side the door to the back,with it capped.Shoud be legal???(both sides)
Anybody else?

I agree that side pipes look cool. I'm planing on running duals, but if a side pipe setup ever became available that looked trick as hell on a 4th gen I think I would have to go for it. Some of the Mustangs look really good with them and I love the look of the Vipers.

thats not the setup i would use, but they still look really damn nice

I deffinately would NOT do that, I just don't like it... but that's just me.

yeah, as i said, not what i would do. they kinda look out of place on it. i was thinking more along the lines of the way the rousch mustangs are setup...

get side skirts, and at the end of them, modify it so you can place the exhaust outlet there, right before the rear wheels

Yea, thats what Id want too. The car in the pics has to have some clearance issues there.

Maybe to get around clearance problems, rectangular pipes could be fabricated or something... theyd have to run down the outer edge of the side of the car though, to get around the subframe connectors many of us have.
