Anyone running MAC 1 7/8 headers ?
I went to the MAC web site and they don't list these headers. I've seen them talked about in the advanced section. Anyone have a part number or anything ? Are they a LT design and do they come coated ?
Re: Anyone running MAC 1 7/8 headers ?
The headers would be used on a 383 with serious HP and a 400 shot direct port NOS. Dang, I did a search and all before I made this post because I remember reading about them along with the Dynatech 1 7/8. I want to stay away from the Dynatech and use the MACs.
Since this is back to the top again, anyone have a clue what the part number is by chance ? Or else I guess I'll just have to contact them.

Re: Anyone running MAC 1 7/8 headers ?
You'll find the Dynatech headers on a few websites, just as I did when the subject of 1-7/8" headers for LT1 came up. I found out through another member (Fastfatboy) that a call to Dynatech reassured him that they're not making the headers anymore.
Soooo, the other option is to use the Hedman header. If you do a search for it, you'll find some posts that tell ya what you'll need to modify to make them work.
Good luck.
