The idle is smoother on a 114, but there is still some lope. Then again, some people will say a CC503 on a 112's lope isn't really a lope.
If you want to find out how it sounds, look for CC305 files. They sound pretty much the same.

The same duration and lift number w/ a wider lobe sep = Great for FI, Loss of Torque in the low and mid range rpm for N/A

im running the cc305 right now but its no longer going to be in a 350 anymore due having to rebuild my engine. i could definately notice a nice lope to it but that may have just been because i didnt have a tune on it. thats gettin fixed as we speak. anyways i had fairly open exhaust and you could definately tell it wasnt stock even on the 114 LSA. for my needs it fit well, and that with 1.6rr i could definately tell an increase in top speed, not that most people are very concerned with that but i suppose that means a good hp increase.

If ya want it to lope put it on a 108+4 and ya will get max power.

Taking a cam designed to end up with 112 and spreading it to 114 to tame it will result in DISAPOINTMENT. If the 503 is going to be a little to radical on some front then go with a different cam, smaller cams can lope especially if you request it from the tuner.

Yea, a friend of mine has a cam thats as far as duration and lift is concern, it SMASHES my Hotcam, but its at a 114 LSA. This was intended for a blower, but never happend. We have taken his dyno sheets and graphed it. He loses massive amount of torque until after 3500 rpms and then starts to gain. The car has wicked top end pull, but is a dog on the low end. With 2800 stall and 3.23 gears it still is a dog. It needs a blower or 4.10 gears (auto).

this is a excellent page about cam events. How its wrong to use LSA to make a cam look huge in the duration section, but then to tone it down by a 113,114,116 etc etc LSA
