Anyone run straight h2o and water wetter in the summer?

My car has been getting fairly wam lately... thinking of going that route since it should cool much better. Only thing I am worried about is lowering the boiling point too far
thoughts?
thoughts?
doing this is a band aid IMHO-
there is a reason why your car is running hot. its not because you have coolant in it. Your car is pretty much stock and we have stout cooling systems. find problem and fix it.

I think it is partially becuase of the reduced capacity of the cooling system. Yanked the oil cooler and heater core, plus related hoses...so that's a good gallon gone right there.
But I did pull the a/c condensor reducing air restriction...
Rad is not the greatest anymore, could be part of it... never noticed a problem before, but it hasn't ever been this hot (weather) since I've owned the car
I have to keep the heat on full in the summer heat to keep the car from over heating.
Since then I've started running 3 bottles of water wetter and 100% water. Stays a lot cooler. Also added 2 pusher fans.
Just bought an aftermarket rad too that needs to be installed.

Why are guys having cooling problems?! My car never goes above the 1/4 mark on the temp gauge, I have tried different sensors (not becausing im running cool) but because I broke them doing heads and headers.

there is something wrong with the vehicle if you need 2 more pusher fans, pure water, water wetter and a bigger radiator.

Dam I knew I should had kept my stock radiator.
The reason I am having heating issues is because I am running a single 16-in low profile fan. I am going to be buying a pusher fan for the front of my radiator to help deal with this issue.

I was fine until I did the stroker.

I know another guy with a 90 IROC-Z that has the same problem with his stroker.
And yet another guy with an LS1 had the same thing happen after adding a blower.

. The only reason I upgraded to a Be Cool Radiator is because I got a smoking deal on one (300 brand new). With the stock fans and radiator I was not having any type of cooling issues. I should had just kept my stock radiator.

I'm with trey, you guys have some weird problems... I can sit in traffic and it RARELY and I mean RARELY goes past the first mark even if I'm sweating like a pig, if I'm cruising it's all gravy, I have a blower too. Adding stuff like that has no effect on the cooling system. Now if you add a blower and you add a heavier foot, the cooling system will obviously pick up more heat on it's track back to the radiator. Or if you added a blower that was lubricated by coolant, then yeah I can understand. But unless you are romping on the gas more, engine mods don't make your car run hotter. I'm using about 50/50 with 1 bottle of water wetter.
