Anyone ran a cc306 with GMPP 1.6 rockers?
I have the 1.6's out of a hotcam kit, and I am wondering if they will work with a CC306?
BTW- I have some single coil lunati springs that are supposed to be good to .630 lift. Anyone advise against runnint these springs, those rockers, some hardened push rods and stock lifters?

yes, the gmpp 1.6 rr's will work. they are 3/8 stud, so i advise that you buy arp rocker arm studs to go with it. if you are planning on making some really big power, I'd upgrade to some 7/16 1.6 rr's with matching studs. but thats not usually an issue untill big power comes in from what i understand.

actually, i was just thinking... i forgot that the gmpp rr's are only supposed to be good up to .570 lift according to GM. so a cc306 on 1.6 rr's would NOT work. the 306 is a lil over .570 lift with 1.6 ratio rockers. see if you can't find a set of used crane gold rockers or the pro mag rockers from either crane or comp cams. i can't remember which of the two makes them. or u can buy used, but if you're like me, u like to save money.

anyone else.
reason i dont think it'd be a problem is since there isnt really any noticeable difference between the two rockers.
maybe im missing something, but seems like the only problem would be the stud size, and it breaking.
