ANYone put a cutout ON the cat?

i got a half gutted random teck high flo cat, i was wonderin what a pluggable 3" hole in the bottom of the cat, pointing straight down, would be like? would this have hella interior resonance or not? i figured it would spread evenly as soon as it exited...and trust me with my design there will be minimal ground clearance issues...anyone know the answer?

I did something similiar like a few others. I had already had my cat deleted and installed an off-road pipe. I then had the cut-out installed in place of the o.p. The interior resonance is a bit much though. But thats cool because there is an electric cut-out GP going on and prices maybe down to $90 which is an A+ in my book.

Can't beat the new MPP2. I've been beating on that thing (opening and closing it many times a day, lol) and it's still going strong.
