Depends on which emissions testing you're worried about?

The rollers - Unknown if anyone has passed this one
The Visual - Easy, find a shop that doesn't know any better, this used to be my route

The NEW Plug-In - Unknown, but I'm going to be one of the first to try to trick this system. I'm building some basic circuitry such that I can program my PCM back to thinking all the emissions equipment is there and trick the PCM.

The NY test should be easy, They plug into OBD2 and if there is no trouble codes, you pass...

So us guys that have this stuff programmed out, the ecm doesnt know its supposed to be there and with no trouble codes, you should pass !!

This is what my friend at a shop told me, They said the new system will be out soon. He said if that didnt work which he was almost positive it would, that we'd find another way

Wrong...For the plug in test their computer runs specific test on certian systems based on data on hand about your cars emissions system. If they have been programed out you will fail because it will seem as if they either aren't there or are not responding properly. Either way you will fail, even if the SES light isn't on.

he doesn't have an OBD2...
I passed emissions with out egr and air because none one looked under my hood. I imagine it's different from lpace to place.

Exactly....

This I know because I know 3 different people with their inspection license... I will have figured this inspection thing out this fall and will know how to bypass the "issues" with having emissions equipment removed.
