Sounds great! I love the sound. Idle is still pretty loud though. Heres a quick comparison:

Mine will idle through my full exhaust louder than my friends LS1 with a cutout. He also has cats and manifolds, but still.

The tips look great, i cant complain at all.

The only thing i dont like is mine hangs REAL low. I think i need to move it some or something because i scrape it on my driveway all the time.

You will be happy with the hooker.
To be honest, something must not be aligned correctly, or not very tight. I had two places that I had to bend/grind a little sheet metal so that the Hooker would not rub. It made a HUGE difference in how loud the exhaust was. I was much quieter inside and out after I fixed it. I'm certain that you are either leaking somewhere, or touching somewhere. Look where the I-pipe goes over the panhard rod area. Check under AND over everywhere. Look very close. I had problems in both areas. Also where the passenger side pipe comes out of the muffler it wanted to rub on the sheet metal near the exhaust tip.

My tips are 1/2" from the bottom of the bumper. They don't hang low at all. All you need to do is rotate the driver's side up and reclamp it. Then make the passenger side the same.

I loved mine on a stock car.

Once I did the heads and cam, it became really loud. I guess a 230/236 cam and 11.8:1 compression is too much for a Hooker cat-back. I had an ORP for a while, but that was too loud, so I had a cat put on. That did quiet it down, but didn't last too long. So, I put a 12" long Dynomax bullet in as an ORP. Now it sounds good, but still kinda loud. It's actually quieter with the bullet muffler ORP than the cat.

My car is a basically stock car with the same setup with the 12" bullet in place of a cat in attempt to quiet it down. Sounds good to me, I love this setup. I can't wait to wake it up with a set of longtubes and eventually a heads/cam package!
