Question Anyone not happy with the hooker catback?

About to place my order for a hooker catback system. Im fed up with the true duals idea and im going to the 3in. y pipe and a catback instead. From what I have read it seems that everyone likes there system. It looks to be a decent buy for the price also. So is there anyone that doesn't like it? OR would suggest something else for about the same price? Thanks

Aaron

I love the sound of mine, its relativily unnoticable at idle, however its a big difference over stock when the gas is pressed

I just bought the hooker muffler and had my uncle's shop bend a custom exhaust for me. Saved me quite a bit of money. Sound is great though with the headers and cam. It is not raspy at all. It sounds tough.

I haven't heard a single person say they don't like it. I know some very honest critical people and they all say they love it.

I hate it.

Actually, I love it. Quiet at idle and cruising below 2000 rpm. When you step on it, you get the most sweet deep tone.

I love mine. I'm extremely happy with selling my old Borla for the Hooker.

g/f just bought it for her car, my only complaint is that imho the tips stick out wayyyyyy to far. i ended up cutting about 2 1/2 inches off of the tailpipes in order to tuck the tips a little more. other than that it fits alot better than my magnaflow and sounds awsome also

Ditto with the above post, it changed the way I drive. I should sue Hooker for producing such a sweet tone that it gets me in troublee!!!!

Seriously though, I couldn't ask for a better fitting and sounding catback.

When people say it is really quiet at idle, it is REALLY quiet, Ive had so many compliments on my exhuast, its great and really opens when u step on it. Jet hots and hooker is one of the best combos Ive heard and I dont regret for a second, cant wait till the heads and cam go in and let this thing really rip

This is my take on the hooker:

Sounds great! I love the sound. Idle is still pretty loud though. Heres a quick comparison:

Mine will idle through my full exhaust louder than my friends LS1 with a cutout. He also has cats and manifolds, but still.

The tips look great, i cant complain at all.

The only thing i dont like is mine hangs REAL low. I think i need to move it some or something because i scrape it on my driveway all the time.

You will be happy with the hooker.
