Having a hard time finding a reliable shop in maryland to do lt1 enigine work. Any idea where I could go, don't mind driving so long as the work is quality.

Plenty of places in MD work on Fbodies. Maryland speed and performance in Gaithersburg, a place in Fredrick, a couple of places in Baltimore and some in Northern VA. Racersden.net is a local car club that can help you for sure.

Fbody central was who I was thinking about when i said Baltimore just i couldnt remember the name. I dont know how good these places are. Ive just heard of them through others.

 

Fbody central in Baltimore or PSI in Glen Burnie would be the f-body specific shops I would recommend.

 

Damn, holy smoke, f-body central in baltimore, man I have scanned yellow pages and called at least 15 shops and specifically asked if anyone could work on z28's and all of these service shops drew a blank.

My car has been in the shop for the past 2 weeks and these gus say its this its that, that is keeping the check engine light on, and I think they are trying their best but they cannot figure out why the light keeps coming on,

all kinds of codes from random misses, to different cylinders,o2 sensors,to maf sensors, all induction and intake are new, new headers,new distributor,new wires,etc. and this car will run good for a little but when I dig into 4th gear the light comes back on, and I am back in the shop. Thats why I need some experts with this stubborn motor!

Great place, and theses shops have some of the fastest if not the fastest lt1/ls1's on the eastern coast!

 

That sounds like a lost ground or a voltage issue.
