Anyone made some good power out a 383 or 396 stroked, using stock casting ported
Im just wondering if anyone has made some good power and time out a 383 or 396 USING PORTED STOCK CASTING??? I know it would not be the best but just wanted to see what people result are.

440rwhp on a mail order chip and stk water pump. They are out there it just really depends on the setup. I'm probably good for another 10-15hp if it were dyno tuned but then again it could very well be dead on or close to it.

Ona side note, where are you guys gettting GM casting LT1 heads and fitting anything larger than 2.00 valves. I would like to know the porter. I know AFR and other aftermarket does them, but since when can you fit these larger valves in LT1 castings.
I make 420 rwhp on my 396 with 95 Heads , 2.00 in, 1.6 ex, by CNC porter in FL. CAm is a XE 230/236 with 11.1 to 1 comp and LT headers with 58mm AS&M T Body, PCM4less tune
