If it were my car, I would for sure get a NEW oilpan and have it resealed. It just isn't worth taking any risks in my opinion.

Ok here are the pics of my torn up stuff. I dont think the pan is hurt or anything under it.

Sorry the pics are kinda big but you will see what kinda impact it took. I am more worried about a broken manifold or head than I am the oilpan, although if the manifold is broke that means headers, shorties of course.

Sounds like you damaged the oil cooler adapter.....Just take it off and use the standard adapter that it is mounted to.

To remove it disconnect the coolant lines that go to the radiator and water pump. Take out the 1 bolt that holds the metal tubes to the block. Where the tubes go into the adapter youll find a bolt between them...take that out and pull the tube assembly out threw the front. Now look up inside the bottom of the adapter and youll see a big nut.....lossen that and it will come off revealing the standard adapter that it was screwed to. Youll need to get the right bolts for the standard adapter because the ones that work with the oil cooler are studded. Of coarse youll also need a coolant line from the wp to the radiator.

I would also worry about having knocked the oil pickup lose with a hard lick like that. Just watch the oil pressure closely.

yeah i have an oil cooler being shipped today. i pulled everything and the oil cooler if you lay a straight edge across one way it is flat but if you go front to back there is an 1/16" gap. i will have to wait til i get all that back together to see about the oil pressure. thanks for all the replies guys, dust6928
