I believe its:

Duration: 203° intake/210° exhaust@.50-inch

However, I have also seen it listed
Lift: .447 intake/.459 exhaust
Duration: 205° intake/207°

I cam doctored a 95 LT1 cam and it came out to the specs listed above. I dont believe they changed anything throughout the years besides the longer dowel pin and the opti snout hole.

That was interesting. Don't know how those numbers got all jumbled up like they did. But how about these.

That would be tapet lift. Multiplied by the rocker arm ratio (1.5) would give valve lift.

I find the note at the bottom of that chart about the HOTcam interesting. The LT4 Grand Sport Vette's were 330hp stock, so according to this chart, by adding the HOTcam that would put things at 350hp. Yet surprisingly, the description for the "LT4 Topend Package" that Summit used to sell says that that setup will produce a proven 425+hp. (Page 40 of April 2004 issue.)

A 75hp difference. Either Summit took alot of people for a ride on that deal, or GM posted the most underrated #'s for any cam they've ever produced...

not true.... There was a STOCK LT4 hot cam that is what is used in the 330hp LT4 and then there is the LT4 HOT cam which is what comes in the Top End package from Summit.

Taken from GMPartsDirect's website:

GM PART # 24502586
CATEGORY: Engine Camshaft
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $257.30
OUR PRICE: $180.11
DESCRIPTION: LT4 HOT CAMSHAFT
This hydraulic roller cam is for service only for all V8 engines with roller camshafts. The duration at lash point in degrees (intake/exhaust) is 279/287; duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 218/228; and maximum lift with 1.6 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 525/525. Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 112 degrees. Technical Notes: The LT4 camshaft P/N 24502586 was designed to be used in a number of different engines. Therefore, the following change may need to be made to allow for correct assembly of the engine: For LT1 and L98 engines 1995 and before, the dowel pin in the end of the camshaft must be pushed in so extension from end of cam is .30+/-.01", the same as the production part. For 1996 LT1 and LT4 engines, the dowel pin is in the correct position, extending .620" from the end of the camshaft. This camshaft has a fuel pump lobe.

This is the same part # that was mentioned in the description in Speedygonzales's post for the cam that adds 20hp. Same cam that comes in the LT4 HOTcam kit, and the same cam that comes in this kit that GMPartsDirect sells:

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...ber=pk12550630

If this is the "stock HOTcam", can you show me a part number for the ACTUAL HOTcam?
