Ok, I googled it, and searched here... I want to know the lengths of OTVC wires elite uses, as well as taylors for the LT1 motor. I am trying to get a good feel for the lengths I will need, becuase I am getting cumstom magnecors. I have had trouble with msd and taylor, so I want magnecors. I am willing to dish out the cash, cuz without spark my motor is junk. So, can someone point me in the direction of some diagrams, or measure theirs and let me know as well as the brand used?? If someone is using a different brand, let me know the other brands available too!

i got a kit from thunder racing and it came with Taylor wires. I had to make each wire, so you can custom make each length to what you want.

 

alright, so no one knows what lengths taylor uses for their pre made LT1 OTVC kit?

 

Taylor doesn't make a custom fit (premade) OTVC kit for the LT1.

 

There were people on here telling me to buy the Taylor OTVC wire kit... Very wierd!

 

i'm ordering the OTVC kit from taylor on www.thunderracing.com tonight actually. included is all the wires, wire looms, longer valve cover bolts (for top mount) and the crimper tool to put the opti boot end on after cutting to whatever length you need. seems like a pretty nice package deal to me, i'm just tired of having a burned wire

well i will be doing this tonite, the side mount ones. anyway i have searched and it seems noone has measured them and posted the lengths. so i will do everyone a favor and get em for ya.
yeah i thought they were pre-fit to length when u bought them, sucks we have to cut them to length.

 

cool! I just ordered the MSD ones cut to length, and my tuner said they are long enough to go over the valve cover. So I too am gonna post up lengths when I get to that stage!

 

What was the part # of the MSD set?

MSD I think just calls it 32129. The opti ends are installed, you just cut to length and install the plug boot end.
