Anyone know HP or 1/4 Mile Time??

Can anyone give me their best estimate on how much horsepower my car is putting out with my mods in my sig or what it would possibly run in the 1/4 mile. I plan on going to the track this summer but i dont know if i will spend the money to get it dynoed so i was just trying to get an estimate. Also how much hp would a new pcm piggyback from pcmforless.com add approximentaly? thanks

270rwhp if those aren't longtubes.

290 if they are. Anywhere from mid to low 13's @ 103-107mph

The stock M6 LT1 dynoes 255rwhp and 290 rwtq. I would guess you are close to 285 rwhp.

I would guess about 10 rwhp with the PCMforless chip

MAC shorties ('93-'95 style) have proven 25 rwhp and I doubt the Hookers are that much different.

255 stock + 25 for headers +10? for intake + 5 for tb bypass + 5? for cut-out =300 rwhp at my calculation... I may be wrong on some of these numbers

A 6speed and 2.73 gears? I didn't think GM did that, I thought they were atleast 3.23's if not 3.42's.

Good call. Are you sure they are 2.73's? It IS an M6 right?

It's more like 5-7 for intake and 0 for the TB bypass. Depending an what catback is on the car, the cutout will be as little as 1 hp.

The TB bypass only keeps you from loosing HP with a hot engine. It doesn't make HP.

You actually may gain a couple horses from the TB bypass. Afterall the inlet temp of the air is a good bit cooler now that that hot coolant isnt heatsinking it. I think people have tested it for like 2-3hp. But every little bit helps.

No, you definetly dont have 2.73's in an M6. Its more than likely 3.23's.

No. The throttle body bypass is used to keep hot coolant from passing through the throttle body. That's all. If the engine is good and hot, then bypassing the TB helps keep the intake air cool. If the engine is cool, then there is no effect. www.ws6.com dynoed the TB bypass. It's not a HP gain in the typical sense, but more of a mod that keeps you from loosing power.

It is still a good thing to do though since it keeps the car from loosing as much power when hot.

My friend put about 310hp and 350lbs of torque with those mods. Although he had a SLP Loudmouth with all that and Jet Hot for the headers, but the two are similar. Its added about 25 to each of the two from stock, to full exhaust install.
