Anyone know how to install brake pads?
support the rear end... and remove the brake fluid cover.... remove the rims remove the 2 bolts on each rear caliper (connect the caliper to the axle) and remove the calipers...... support them so they can hang in the air...
using a brake pad spreader.... push the piston back into the cylinder and remove the old pads.. pop the new ones in and bolt back on.
btw... go get a hanyes manual...its great for stuff like this.. to tearing apart the motor!!! they are like 16.00 $ ussally
later, good luck

If you plan to undertake maintenance of your car, and lack experience in the specifics, its always a good idea to buy a "manual" to guide you. If you have the $$$$ get a set of Helm manuals for your car ($100 new, generally about 1/2 that used). For minimum cost, get a Chilton's 4th Gen manual for less than $20. I find that the Chilton's answers 95% of my questions.
As good and as inexpensive as free advice over the 'net is, there is no substitute for a detailed, step-by-step procedure, with ample photographs and blow-up parts illustrations.
