Anyone know the guy who made the metal headlight gears for firebirds?

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone has contact info on the guy that made the metal headlight gears for our 'birds--that don't wear out like the plastic ones.

Help is appreciated.

None other than our moderator, Brent. Look for Brent94Z at the top of the forum.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. One of my headlights is getting "lazy" so I know with my firebird experience that it's almost the Time. And I don't have 200 bucks or whatever for a whole new unit...

You wont be sorry if you get the gears from Brent, Its solved all of my headlight problems (grinding, sometime no poping up or going back down). His gears are well machined and Brent is a great guy to do buisness with too. I have been running his gears for almost a year now with NO problems what so ever. Might as well replace the gears in both motor and just be done with it.

Thx,
Claude

Just remember to use lots of the glue supplied and let it dry as long as you can... I had a friend wreck one of the brass gears he got because the glue didn't hold the motor together. (It popped open and went off-track, and the iron gear that the brass one mates with chewed up the brass gear).
