Anyone with Hooker shorties...help needed

At the end of the Y-Pipe there is a large flat flange, how did you guys connect yours to the cat/off-road pipe? What flange did you purchase to get this to work or did you use the extra flat flange that came with the headers and just weld it to the cat? Any pics? Thanks

For what it is worth. I know the guy that put mine together cut the flange off on that end of the cat and rewelded a flange on. I thought he reused the one that he cut off but he may not have. I thought he did this both to clean out the cat and to change the angle of this flange so that the cat was parallel to the ground.

At the muffler shop they will weld the extra flange to your cat. They will have to oval the cat inlet to fit them together.

I got an off road pipe. They used the flange that came with the kit, made it oval and welded it to my cat back. Looks good. Also this helps if I need to remove the Y since the flange is there.
