I just saw this and thought I would reply. I just installed the Aerospace street version two weeks ago. Here are some pics: http://jody.dltechnologies.com/brakes/

I bought the drag race version from Kurtis Tamez, thanks Kurtis Here are some pics he sent me: http://groups.msn.com/Zturbo/racecar...oto&PhotoID=43

I called Aerospace and talked with there tech regarding running the drag brakes on the street. He told me it's not recommended, but they do sell street versions. So that's why I ordered the upgraded kit to the street version.

Hope this helps!

I agree that you dont need the drag racing brakes but you can still get light weight brakes for street use.

go to

www.billingsleyracing.com

go to the brake section and they have both street and drag.

I will caution everyone purchasing larger then stock rotors/calipers for the fronts (ie 13" rotors etc) when your planning on using 15 inch rims.

Currently, it is VERY difficult to fit 15 inch rims on anything larger then an LS1 caliper. To give you an example, Corvette guys have VERY limited options to what they can use. Another issue is when your front braking capabilities are so great with larger front calipers; front wheel lockup occurs MUCH easier due to the skinny tires' frictional contact surface area is decreased. Rear matching upgrades should be at least considered. Having your braking biased incorrectly is not a good thing.

On another note, we are in the process of creating a newer design rim for the larger calipers. I will be working with the prototypes within the next few weeks. This hopefully will free up the problems with the larger caliper brakes that have major issues with fitment. This will give the corvette guys possibly an alternative.

If you would like any additional information, feel free to shoot me an e-mail. I can't publicly post discounted prices.

Thanks for the info. On the newer design, will people be able to run 15" front runners without any spacers?

Thanks,

F-bodies have been using the Bogart P1 rims for stock F-bodes (LS1 and LT1) since we started production of them over 2 years ago (wow has time flew). A standard set consists of 15x4 and 15x10 rims. There are NO additional spacers needed for LS1 and LT1 F-bodies.

The new design we are working on is for the guys whom have larger then stock LS1 F-body rotors/calipers.
