Perhaps you are correct, but perhaps not. For the price of that cam, you could talk to a cam grinder and get a better recomendation rather than taking the risk of it not performing as you would like. There are other people with very good knowledge, that get paid to offer suggestions....and you get what you pay for. Like I said, the LSA is only a small part of the cam equation, and going 2* tighter in the LSA with no other changes will probably be just as far from optimum IMO.

Do you have any experience with this? I have seen how plenty of cams perform and I have seen custom cam specs from cam grinders and they are nothing special. I really made this post to see if anyone has one, not because I have no clue on how this cam will perform. This cam on a 110 will do everything I want (good manners, low powerband and a lot of power for stock heads) and it just happened that it was an off the shelf 305. BTW, how many cams have you had in your lt1?

I am glad that the article talked about timing the cam to the engine. My 302 ranger I did in tech school had a very small cam and everyone said they wouldnt waste there time with it and after 2 months on the rebuild with the stock cam I went to the custom comp R V cam. It was stronger all over the place a spun the tires alot easier. It was 5 retarded with 2 month old timing chain. It had a crank gear with different keyways so I went with the 4 deegree advance since it was all it could go and wow. That dot to dot is for stock rebuilds on the farm truck and granny car rebuilds.
