I heard that you do have to re-program your car when you put in a larger MAF. I've known of others that have had that problem and the computer needed to be reprogrammed for the larger MAF.

It comes pre-calibrated for our cars. I have no issues with mine. I didn't need to reprogram for it.

Take off the new one and put the old one back on. If the issues go away, then I would call ls1speed and see what they reccommend to do. I would try the other one, and if it works then you know something isn't meshing with the new maf and the computer.

I have the z06 maf from ls1speed. It comes "calibrated" but tuners despise going from stock to aftermarket mafs becuse it screws all the tables up. Just ask Ion (madwolf) He hates me :P jk. If I could go back I would go spend alittle extra cash and get a stock replacment. Besides the Z06 maf is HUGE and prob gonna have to rig someone to get it to work with a CAI like I did.

read my post from a few days ago.. the FAQ post that no one replied to...

or the post before that where me and madwolf got into it about the Z06 MAF...

lots of good info there...

and from what I've heard from him the LS1 speed version sucks...

The Factory GM one works great for me...
