Anyone have sound clips of the gm846 cam?

anyone have some good gm846 sound clips...i havent been able to find em newhere....i have heard the gm847 and imo its one of the best sounding cams...but i was wondering how the gm846 cam sounded like cuz that cam would fit my driving better then the gm847.

I never could find many testimonies, videos, or information on the GM846 since its a rarely used cam. Its still a great cam, better than the Hotcam, XE224/230, and CC305 in my opinion, but I think some folks forget about it when they consider midsize cam selection.

It seems like a good cam, but in my research, I've found that it's just too old of a design. Go with something newer and more advanced like the comp xfi grinds. It should sound similar to any of the ones mentioned above, depending on your exhaust setup, among other things.

Give it a few minutes to get approved. It was taken with a camera phone so the quality isn't the best but you get the idea. Its going to be for sale in a few weeks too, I'm going to go with hte 847 or a custom cam if some of the cam places would actually email me back.

Yeah this cam is older technology, but still great. I honestly would rather buy an "older technology" cam that has been proven to make good power.

i want a cam that makes good power (definetly more then the hotcam) sounds great with a great lopey sound...and driveability is good...because my camaro is my summer DD and i dont wanna have to get into high rpms to get the full power out of my cam. and the gm846 seemed like a good option....any other you guys suggest?

how does the 503 differ from the 305. that cam you linked too is a nice looking cam by going with the numbers...wonder how it goes for emissions..the only reason I went with the 305 because it was easy to pass
