Please tell me exactly what this is and what it feels like if you have it? What is the cure for it as well?

i'm not sure exactly what it is, technically, but it is when your car will lunge forward due to the overlap in the cam. it sorta sounds like it's going to stall but then the rpms ramp up a little and then back down. my impala has it pretty good with the hot cam and the converter. it's almost like it's loading up and makes a chug-a-lug feeling. as far as fixing it, i have no clue other than getting a smaller cam

 

with a M6 at low RPMs and no load on the motor your speed will occilate or surge as if your applying a little throttle on and off. Also, just running rough at low rpms, i don't mean lopey idle, i mean poor tq and throttle response sometimes. Thats my decription based on my cousins car before tuning.
