Anyone Have the New Kooks LTs?

I've been lurking around here for a while now. I'm thinking about the new Kooks LTs for our LT1s but I'd like some customer feedback if I can get any. Dyno numbers would be cool too to see how these stepped headers perform compared to regular 1 3/4" LTs. Thanks a lot,
Tim

Myself and a few others have done writeups for these headers. I don't beleive anyone has posted dyno #'s yet but everything else is covered. Do a search and you'll find em

Thanks. I had searched for info on them but I didn't really get any dyno info. I guess that is what I'm mainly after other than reviews on how they sound, leak problems, etc. I've read that installing them is not real hard and plug access is above average but I've yet to hear a road test report on them.

Re: Anyone Have the New Kooks LTs?

I am thinking about ordering a set off the group purchase. but, they carry a decent sized price on them, especially for being uncoated. not sure if I'm totally willing to spend over a grand for headers after I get them coated, plus almost 500 for a catted y-pipe. Anyone know what makes them so much better to cost so much?

Probably the name but I could be wrong. Thats why I'd like to see dyno numbers for the stepped headers. If there isn't more than a 10 rwhp gain over regular 1 3/4" LTs then I wouldn't consider them worth it because the price is very steep. What would coated Hookers with a y-pipe cost, like $800 tops?
