anyone have bigger injectors for the 224 xe?

just curious as to what type of increases you have seen.

i have heard the 24's get labored pretty hard with even the hot cam. My friend is doing the 224/230 and he already installed 30lb. motorsports in preparation for the cam.

I actually asked the VERY knowledgable mechanic that's doing my head/cam package with the 224, and he said the 24 lbs are fine if the vehicles properly tuned. We'll see, but I'm not doubting him with what I've seen so far.

I will be using the stock injectors with the XE230 and stage 3 TEA heads that I am currently installing. From what I undersand, the stockers work well for most naturally aspirated setups. On Lingenfelters strokers, he resues the stock injectors on the 94 and up cars, the 93's are only 22 lb/hr, wheras the 94 and up are 24 lb/hr. MTI reused the stock 93 injectors on project Thunderchicken's 396. That car actually has its entire stock fuel system intact, fuel pump, regulator and all.
