I'm doing a 6sp swap. The person I bought the swap parts from took the pedals out without the rest of the pedal assembly.
I got the pedal frame later from him and when I assembled them and put them in the car a noticed a decent amount of side to side play in the clutch and some in the brake pedal.

There is a bolt that goes thru both pedals and holds them in their frame but it doesn't seem right?
Is there a shim or something missing?
