So ithink i bent one of my pushrods, as I took my car out, bagged a bit and didnt let it get real warm, the car lost most of the oil pressure and power. It was sounding terrible, notreally knocking, but similar. Left it, started it the next day, my oil pressure was at 3/4 the guage, and it was still making noise.

Anyone have this problem? If you did, can you let me know what your problem was. I have a friends dad thats a mechanic, and he swears that its a pushrod, but im not sure...

First of all,welcome. Bent pushrod(s) happen from over revving.Usually from missing a gear with a manual trans.Never happened to me.

 

Pop the valve covers and find out, easiest thing to replace in the valve train.
