anyone got pics of the ports on there ported heads?

Im porting my own heads (Ive done this before, but not LT1 heads) and would just like to see what others have had success reshaping. flow #s to go w/pic would be nice too. any does and donts? paying to have them ported is not an option right now.

well, Ive done this before, but that still had a few tidbits of info I didnt know. like the use of wd40 to keep the cartride rolls from loading up, and that the speed should be around 10K rpms. what I really wanted was to see some LT1 heads that have been done.
thanks though.

yes the heads were milled to acheive 11.5:1 w/stock short block
When building the stroker we ordered pistons to get the other .5

The heads are early (99ish GTP's)
they were flowed by Brodix
I am pleased with the performance and the car looks and sound very mild
I have even had almost stock LT1s wanting to race

cool website, fin. the mods page. well, how did those heads flow? also I noticed that you removed the exh. valve guides completly from the exh. ports, Ive never seen this done before. doesnt that give you any problems w/valve wear/rockin in the remainder of the guide? removing that thing prolly added tons of flow. what size are those valves? look too big to be stock. I might replace the stock valves w/some back cut ones of the same size. gonna look into how much. if its not too much, it would add some flow too. but if exp., then Id just wait till I can buy some better heads that already have bigger valves.

Heads were done by www.theengineworks.com

There was a ton of work done to them, not only porting a polishing but the cumbustion chambers were reshaped and polished, the valves were unshrouded as well. Valves are 2.00/1.60 fer. race valves.

sorry the site is temporarily under improvments so pics are not avail. for a few days until i finish the new site
