i need to get some new rear tires and i am thinking about getting the Kuhmo Ecsta supra 712's. anyone ever used these? how is the traction while racing?

I've had them for several months now. Wet traction was actually pretty impressive. Dry is acceptable, nothing earth shattering, I've had worse and better. Given the price though -- I'd have no heart burn buying 'em again.

I have the kumhos on my 93 ta that has a few bolt ons and they spin pretty good. In the rain they do awesome, in dry they suck for me. That is not to say they are not good tires, however. My friend has them on his 93 z with like almost the exact same mods as me and has no traction problem whatsover. You just have to try them on your car and see how they work. They dont cost alot so it wont put a big hurt on your wallet if they dont work. Excellent rain tire though.
