I just installed Pacesetter LTs along with NGK TR55s and elitesparkplugs.com wires. I looked under the hood just now and counted at least 3 of them arcing Anyone ever used them before?

 

I have used them, they are good guys. They dont answer their phone much, but besides that... they seem to be good guys. They have been professional and given me good products both times I ordered from them (ive bought a delteq system and new wires from them, new plugs each time.)

What did you buy from them?

 

I just finished installing their OTVC wire kit. It is great quality, no problems to report, and their customer service over the phone was good. They really stand behind their product so I am sure they will help you out.

 

I installed their OVC wires on my 97 Z. Im gonna go and double check everything and make sure its all good, tight and out of the way.

 

If you hooked it up wrong then you will get arcing.........

 

Few questions

1) Did you se the supplied Dielectric Compound?
2) Is all your sparkplugs tight? (Double check)

There is a lifetime warranty on all wires we sell and if there is a problem we will replace them for free.

 

I just installed them on my car as well. got the 8mm OVC wires w/ the heat shielding. i've got sparks arcing all over as well! i'm slightly more than upset here. I already e mailed them (don't bother calling, you always get the machine and then you're lucky if you get a call back 2 days later)
I had never heard of any problems with their wires before.. maybe they made mine on a Friday??
I have good plugs, new coil, and i know my opti is good, b/c i had no problems with it before the wire install. My car has a bad misfire now, and every now and again i'm treated to a huge bang out the exhaust also! it is currently undriveable, awesome!!

 

I just ordered some last saturday. The representative I spoke to told me Id recieve them in 3-4 days, but I wont be getting them till tomorrow. It sucks cause I had a burnt wire and really wanted to convert to an OVC setup before I had to move into my appartment for school. Because the wires didnt come on time, I had to purchase a cheap set of wires from autoznoe to hold me over until the OVC wires show up at my house. I'll then have to have my dad ship them up to me in Baltimore where I go to school so I can install them. It was a bit frustrating but oh well, what can I do?

On their behalf though, both times I called I got someone on the phone. He was friendly and willing to give me the information I needed.

These better be the best plug wires on earth. If mine arc, me and elitesparkplugs will have problems!

If there is a problem we will stand behind our product 100% and will replace them. But before you blame our wires please make sure everything else is up to spec... double check your install to make sure all wires are properly installed etc.

I agree, I have the OTVC wires in red and I have already received numerous complements about how good they look and they have only been installed for two weeks. They are, in my opinion, the best plug wires I have ever owned.

 

Jim is local to me and I've met him in person and bought wires from him. He even came out to my work and took measurements for custom wires. Good guy and good wires IMHO
