Anyone ever try this?

I know you can make aftermarket SS style hoods working with air boxes and what not, but what about trying to cut the Z28 93-97 slits out that are on each side and make them functional. Is there a way to hook that up to the bellow or anything that anyone could think of? i'm thinking of trying this and getting some plastic tubing to connect to the bellow going to the TB. what do you guys think?

The ram air on f bodies is flawed in a few ways. Sources say that it doesnt actually pressurize air like its supposed to until speeds of upwards 90mph so basically it is a cold air intake for the most part. Then the 2nd problem is its located on top of the intake manifold which causes the air to get heat soaked therefore makinga hot air intake. Its not that bad in reality but a regular cai seems to make a few hp more than the ram. Get a cai and be done with it. You can still get the other hood if you want it for looks.
