Anyone ever heard of this??

I have a miss on cylinder # 1 (front, driver side) I thought it was the spark plug fouled out, so I checked it and it was hitting. I have checked the cylinder for spark, fuel, injector signal, compression etc. All checks out good.

So anyways, I changed the plug and it ran like a champ, no miss.....now the miss is back again within 5 min. of driving. So I got the heat gun out, and sure enough, cyl. # 1 is missing again. It pulls fine over 4k + RPM's, no miss....WTF??

What could cause this?? It's a brand new engine with 120 miles on it. Anyone have any idea??

Thanks in advance...

If it was gas fouled, maybe a bad plug wire or something wrong with the optispark.

OPTISPARK..........or maybe your optispark.............only other thing is your optispark.

besure to write back and tell us how it runs when you eventually replace your optispark.
