Anyone Ever had car dynoed on Dyno Dynamics?

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a 94' TA in the bay area that has the following mods: ported heads(no flow numbers provided to me), CC305, 1.6 RR's, Hooker Long Tubes, no cat, Borla adjustable, electric water pump, fuel system is stock, and PCM for less mail order tune. The car also has a Capitol trans built 4L60E with a 3000 stall, and stock 3.23 ten bolt. Car has 109,xxx miles on it.
My question is, what should this setup be puting down theoretically? Not questioning the accuracy of my buddies dyno, but I think the numbers looked a bit high...
Exhaust open: 381.5 RWHP and 379.0 RWTQ; A/F was 11.5/1
Exhaust through muffler: 363.5 RWHP and 367.5 RWTQ; A/F was 11.2/1

Let me know what you think,

Thanks,

Rob

Def. to rich, but that will change soon. I just thought it was a bit high, I honestly was expecting 330-340 RWHP

Well, if it is not accurate, it certainly isn't far off. An LT1 heads/cam/long tubes, should be around 340-370 depending on the cam, flow numbers, exhaust, and extra little goodies. If it is accurate, I'd say you are looking good, especially if you can lean it out a hair. JMHO

Well,

I will have a new set of DR's next week then I'll try and get it to the track and that will tell us how accurate it is.

Good. Keep us posted, including your launch approach and shifting points.

Track times

Got it to the track last night and while I'm not entirely disappointed I think there is a little more in it. This is the best pass:
60ft-1.92
E.T.-12.88
MPH-106.74
Also, the guy I got the car from said that it had a 3200 stall in it, but the converter would only flash to about 2500rpm.
This pass I launched at 1400 rpm (all other passes were from a higher stall and were in the 2.0 60 ft range)
Trans was also shifting a bit high, 6500 rpm. Car only makes power till about 5900rpm.
Like I said, with a little fine tuning I think it probably has another couple tenths in it.

Thanks for reading.

uhm with 381/379 id be pissed if i trapped only 107 ish... i trapped 101... bogging the launch and misfiring in 2 gears with 265/301 with flowmaster and stock manifolds that was before the lts, ory, and loudmouth
with those numbers of yours id expect a 113-117ish trap speed

The dyno definatly reads high if you are only trapping 107.

if you were having major traction problems it could be fine. my car that has 381 at the wheels and i was only able to trap 111. major traction problems and i didn't really have a third gear
maybe a new stall, some traction and different rear end gears and you could probably cut some good times.

Seeing as you have an A4 do you know if the dyno numbers were done with the converter locked or unlocked? I would suspect locked.
