made a ram air to a lt1 cai? is it possible...i hear some of the ls1 guys makin ram air ducts from the front scoops, to their lid, and picking up 1-3 tenths and 1-3mph!!!
im trying to picture somethin up...but cutting the plastic under the drivers fender and making a a scoop isnt really a ram air...

 

i did it on my 93 Z-28. you can check out my cardomain page in the sig. click the yellow car. i did it out of sheet aluminum. it was kinda cool, something i did all myself which was cool, but idk if it was worth it. really didnt feel anything, but then again i didnt drive the car much before i actually did the mod. however if you do it nice and clean, then there is nothing t loose. BTW i drove the car in all weather after that, never had a block off plate or anything, it was always fine.

 

yea thats what every1 has done...i was getting at something like a true ram air...not just a help air get to the filter, ram air....no offense

ive had alot of ideas lately and i think been reading to omuch on ls1tech...but anyone ever removed pvc off their lt1? howd you do it?do they cause oil in the intakes as bad as ls1?
and after removing the charcoal canister how did yall vent it?
dont forget about the ram air idea too...
