anyone else notice

How Hot Rod and Car Craft and rodders in general seem to be putting LS series engines in just about everything ? When my '96 Z28 got hot and blew the head gaskets, after alot of head scratching I decided on a Jasper LT1. Over all it has been ok, but I can never seem to keep the service engine soon light off for long. 3 years ago, when I did the Jasper engine I thought about an LS, but the K member, guages, harness, etc seemed like too much. Now, last week while driving home it stopped running. I still had the dash lights and it cranked fine, but no start. After a tow home, it started right up. I have not driven it since, but after what feels like 3 + years of fighting, I'm about to give up and sell it. I will take a financial beat down, 'cause I invested over 15,000 in a car I will be lucky to sell for 5,000 . When I did the engine I put in a new Delco opti, any thoughts why it stopped running ? And of course the service engine light soon was on, it is always on.

Could always delete the opti and swap over the reluctor ring thingy and use a LS1 pcm, then you won't have to sell your car.

Re: anyone else notice

Scan it.... might provide some insight into why it stopped running and wouldn't start. Unless yo uintentionally cleared it, the code is still there.
