anyone else broken any vacuum lines???

anyone else broken any vacuum lines???

ok when i changed my intake manifold gaskets i broke about 3 of the damn vac lines that are connected to or around the manifold.... so i just fixed the broken area with the required length of hose. its really really bothering me that i did this since im really **** about my stuff... anyone else done this? and also some of the connectors and boots on the ends of the vac lines were kinda dry rotted what should i do?

Buy new ones? Some are still available from the dealer.

Just look for the rolls of hard plastic tubing at the parts store. Most stores have alot of the same rubber fittings as well

I bought some new ones last year. the plastic line that goes to the tb with the big rubber elbow for about 12$

from the dealer

I think they are listed as "pipes" on the dealer parts list.

The dealers sells the lines individually. No sets.

you can buy rubber vacuum hose as well, and if you are careful to route it so when it bends it doesn't kink, it works fine. i replaced the dry rotted 90s with this and have had no problems.

ok cool thanks guys...i think im going to buy the rubber hose stuff instead of that hard plasric tube
