I would highly recommend that you consider a single cat conversion for your car, if you can get away with it.....

Midlength headers like SLP, AS&M, RKsport are superior to the shorty designs without cutting into the ground clearance like longtubes. They will have the emmisions hookups, and maybe the DMV won't notice there is only one cat instead of two, or maybe this is going to be a strip car, or maybe you know someone at a smog station You didn't specifcy if you needed to remain legal.

There are people out there with longtubes on lowered cars though. THe FLPs aren't as bad as the hooker design in terms of ground clearance. I have the single cat SLP's on my car.

I did this on a huge bottomout at speed. Some people have gotten a new O2 bung welded in. I just kept running it and it hasn't bottomed out again.

What size wheel?
I'm running 17s, but with the lower profile tires its exaclty the same overall as the 16s some people run so it isn't affecting clearance.

I run Hooker Long tubes with an Eibach Pro kit. There is a definite loss of clearance but so far, I've managed to avoid damage

I have Hooker longtubes, custom y-pipe, and the Eibach Sportlines. I have no major issues. BTW, the Sportlines aren't progressive, and they drop your car lower than the Pros. Some pics are in my sig. I'm happy with my set-up!

Eibach ProKit & Grotyohann Longtubes. There ain't nothing you can do about it. Just have to learn to deal with it, if this is what you really want.

I got the Eibach Pro kit and running SLP's. My car already scraped every once in awhile with the stock exhaust. I'm running ZR 1's with 17x275X40 in the front and 17x35x315's in the back.

Prokit and FLPS. 17" wheels, tires same diameter as stock.
I scrapped the clamps a couple times. No big deal. Just have to pay attention to the terrain.
